A Free Educational Tour of the Spit

We are excited to offer a free educational tour of the Spit with Lyra Brennan, Assistant Director of the Coastal Waterbird Program at the National Audubon Society. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the species inhabiting the Spit and the precious ecosystem surrounding us. We will meet as a group to enjoy coffee from Cape Cod Coffee, breakfast treats from Amie Bakery, and chat with a few SPB board members at 9:30am, followed by a walking tour to the end of the Spit at 10am.

When: Sunday August 9 at 9:30am
Where: Popponesset Spit entrance

Parking will not be available, please arrive by foot, bike, or boat. We ask you to respect social distancing guidelines and wear a mask when 6ft distance cannot be maintained during this gathering as well as your everyday use of the Spit.
