The dredging is now expected to start after Labor Day due to a shortage of crew, and take 10-15 business days depending on weather conditions.

Please be aware that the area to the right of the entry to the Spit, over to the Fisherman’s Stairs is a construction site during the dredging. Please do not enter this area until the dredging has been completed.
